Meet The Team at St. Paul's Church

Revd. Nick Williams Revd Nick Williams, Priest-in-Charge

Nick moved to St. Paul's in February 2005, after working in churches in Ditton, Kent and Farnborough, Hants. He is passionate about making the Christian faith and church relevant to people's lives. When he's not working, he plays hockey for Fleet Hockey Club, cricket for the diocese, table-football and 5-a-side with the church's football team! He is married to Anna and they have children.




Catherine AdamsCatherine Adams, Children & Families Worker

Catherine grew up in Felixstowe, Suffolk with her brother Chris. Her mum still lives in Felixstowe, but sadly her dad died when she was 14. Catherine left Felixstowe in 2004 to work for London City Mission which has been a challenging experience, both personally and spiritually. She has been able to gain a lot of experience working with children and families and is looking forward to being part of the team at St Paul’s as the Children and Families Worker.




Simon Vincent Simon Vincent, Churchwarden

Simon joined St. Paul's in February 2005 and helps to maintain the church's website. He has been a Churchwarden since March 2006 and is keen to see the church reach out to young people and men in Tongham. He is married to Sophie

Annie Burdett Annie Burdett, Churchwarden

Annie was born in Tongham and has always attended St Paul's. She has been a PCC member and a Deanery Synod rep for many years and is very pleased that there are so many young people
and families joining St Paul's. She is also keen to encourage our more senior people to join and become involved too. She is very proud to have become Churchwarden in 2008. She is married to Paul.

Sally Banks
, Church Administrator

Sally is our Church Administrator. She joined St Paul's in 2007 and felt at home straight away. Sally loves to meet new people, and is very excited to see lots of new families coming to St Paul's. She has two boys at school, and works in the Church Office.





Mark Waters Mark Waters, Treasurer

Mark, a Finance Manager working in London, joined St Paul’s in February 2007. Married to Sara and with three children, they joined St Paul’s because they love the informal atmosphere that is particularly welcoming to young families.






Mike Ellis Mike Ellis, Covenant Secretary

Mike became Covenant Secretary in April 2008. He is married to Sue and works in London.








Anna Williams Anna Williams, Music Co-ordinator

Anna moved to Tongham with her husband Nick in February 2005. She is a GP and helps co-ordinate the music in St Pauls. She is keen to see the music grow and aid all ages in worshipping God.






Sophie Vincent Sophie Vincent, Music Co-ordinator

Sophie joined St. Paul's in February 2005 with her husband Simon. She is a part-time primary school teacher in Cove, Farnborough. She works with Anna to enrich the church's worship through music.






Paul Burdett Paul Burdett, Parochial Church Council Secretary

Paul is a retired Fire Officer who now looks after the PCC's paperwork. He is happy to help out, if he is able, wherever he can.







Karen Lambert Karen Lambert, Buzz Club Co-ordinator

An Infant school teacher in Farnborough, Karen has been worshipping at St Paul's since March 2005. She enjoys working alongside Lyn to develop the children's groups and is keen to encourage children to worship and play their part in the life of the church.






Lyn Sanders Lyn Sanders, Buzz Club Co-ordinator

Lyn lives in Ash Vale with Keith, Amy and Grace and joined St Paul's in 1998. She has been a PCC member since 2005 and works in Guildford for a Chartered Accountancy Firm. Lyn works together with Karen in developing the children's work.





Kathleen Wontner Kathleen Wontner, Child Protection Officer

Before she retired, Kathleen was a special needs teacher at the Grange school in Aldershot (later Henry Tyndale) and has lived in Tongham since 1982. She and her husband, Julian, joined St. Paul’s in January 2005 and are both active in the church. They have two children and four lovely grand- daughters and Kathleen feels that this, together with her work in education, is invaluable in fitting her for raising awareness of the need for Child Protection within the church family and community.
