Revd Claire Holt, Priest-in-Charge
** APPOINTMENT MADE ** We
are delighted to announce the appointment of Revd Claire Holt
as the new Priest-in-Charge for St. Paul's Tongham. We look forward to welcoming
Claire in March 2012.
Catherine
Adams, Children & Families Worker
Catherine grew up in Felixstowe, Suffolk with her brother Chris. Her mum still
lives in Felixstowe, but sadly her dad died when she was 14. Catherine left
Felixstowe in 2004 to work for London City Mission which has been a challenging
experience, both personally and spiritually. She has been able to gain a lot
of experience working with children and families and is looking forward to
being part of the team at St Paul’s as the Children and Families Worker.
Paul Rogers, Churchwarden
Paul and then girlfriend Helen joined St Paul's in 2006. They have since
married and had their first child. Paul has been on the PCC since 2008 and
became Warden in 2010. He is focused on helping execute the churches vision
and ensuring the church is a well maintained, relevant space for current and
future generations. Paul lives in Farnborough and works for an IT company
in Surrey.
Kate Crabtree, Churchwarden
Kate moved to St. Paul's in May 2005. She is delighted to see the church
family grow in faith and numbers, as new people join. Kate teaches in Farnborough
and lives in Farnham. She is married to Stephen and they have 2 daughters.
Sally Banks,
Church Administrator
Sally is our Church Administrator. She joined St Paul's in 2007 and felt
at home straight away. Sally loves to meet new people, and is very excited
to see lots of new families coming to St Paul's. She has two boys at school,
and works in the Church Office.
Sophie Vincent, Worship Leader
Sophie joined St. Paul's in February 2005 with her husband Simon and is mother
to Reuben and Phoebe. She is passionate about developing worship through music
at St. Paul's and building a strong worship team.
Simon Vincent, Treasurer
Simon joined St. Paul's in February 2005, previously Churchwarden and now
Treasurer. He is keen to see the church reach out to young people and men
in Tongham, and helps to maintain the church's website. He is married to Sophie
with two children.
Mike Ellis, Covenant Secretary
Mike became Covenant Secretary in April 2008. He is married to Sue and works
in London.
Paul Burdett,
Parochial Church Council Secretary
Paul is a retired Fire Officer who now looks after the PCC's paperwork. He
is happy to help out, if he is able, wherever he can.
Karen Lambert, Buzz Club Co-ordinator
An Infant school teacher in Farnborough, Karen has been worshipping at St
Paul's since March 2005. She enjoys working alongside the other leaders to
develop the children's groups and is keen to encourage children to worship
and play their part in the life of the church.
