10am Teaching Programme - Winter 2009

The Bible. God's Word. The Holy Scriptures. The Christian's Life Manual. However you might refer to it, it is a book that none of us know as well as we should despite knowing that it is an awesome book which reveals God and His truth to us.

Over the next year, we are going to explore the Bible in more depth. This term, we look at some of the fundamental questions that beset us when we sit down and try and understand the Bible - if we can find some of the answers to these questions, then maybe we will come to God's Word with a greater sense of excitement, awe and anticipation of God speaking to us through it and from it.

Then, as we enter Lent, we will be focusing on some key passages which point to Jesus' imminent death which we remember on Good Friday, and His glorious resurrection which we celebrate on Easter Sunday.
