Children's and Youthwork at St. Paul's Church

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

We recognise the importance of the young people in our community. At St. Paul's we seek to invest in children as they are the church of today and tomorrow.

Buzz Club (3-5yrs), Buzz + (6-8yrs), and Zzub (9-14yrs) are the names of the Sunday morning groups. The groups have a mix of games, Bible stories, craft activities, prayer, Bible memory verses and singing.

Afterschool Buzz has been running nearly a year now. We have anything between 12-22 children who come along and it has been a pleasure to get to know them.

Zzub @ The Hive is for 10-14yrs and was formed in 2010 and we regularly see 15 young people come along once a month on a Friday evening, We are actively Planning a weekend away with this group.

In addition, our Children's and Families Worker Catherine Adams, goes into the local school to take part in the Collective Worship.

The group leaders are all Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked.

We also have a creche for our youngest children.

We also run Holiday Buzz Clubs in the Easter and Summer
